Job Description

-Direct or coordinate production, purchasing, warehousing, distribution, or financial forecasting services or activities to reduce costs and improve accuracy, customer service, or safety -Evaluation of suppliers to maintain quality and on time delivery of supplies -Fully accountable for accurate inventory levels by exact demand forecast and supply plans that ensure availability of products -Manage annual physical inventory process and minimize overall inventory value while maintaining on time delivery -Utilize forecasting or historical demand to establish inventory levels -Oversee all steps of supply chain in upstream and downstream -Prepare delivery timetables -Monitor stock levels -Plan the best way to get goods from suppliers to distribution centers and retailers -Work with retailers to make sure they receive their goods on time and in right condition
