- Communicate with software analysis and development teams to provide suggestions on how to improve database design
- Recommends solutions by defining database physical structure, functional capabilities, database security.
- Create, deploy and maintenance database change scripts during software releases.
- Confirm database servers are backed up and meeting Recovery.
- Maintain and monitor databases and servers.
- Database performance tuning.
Requirements
- SQL Server concepts (Backup and Recovery, High Availability, Performance Tuning, Database Security, etc.)
- BS Degree in Software Engineering, IT engineering, or Industrial Engineering
- 1+ year experience in a DBA role
