Job Description

Mission: ● To identify, acquire and deploy sponsorship properties to promote MTNIrancell brand and increase value share, using direct marketing, association, and affinity. Roles: ● To liaise with various internal teams and departments for managing sponsorship projects, events, and exhibitions. ● To collaborate with related teams in order to create awareness for all events and sponsorship activities internally on MTNIrancell owned platforms including emails, websites, and social accounts. ● To participate in the definition of annual sponsorship roadmap based on company strategy and meet actions in all categories as per defined Brand Annual Roadmap and Brand Strategy. ● To propose business cases and possible revenue opportunities lain beneath sponsorship programs ● To prepare a proper action list with required timelines and planning also provide reports right after events based on defined categories. ● To collaborate with agencies and affiliate partners and other departments to make the best situation for events and sponsorships based on defined targets. ● To ensure all sponsorship events are aligned with contracts or defined scope of work and follow all actions to make sure of all deliveries. ● To promote and inform all events and sponsorship activities internally to promote sponsorship and event activities on MTNIrancell owned platforms including emails, PR, websites, social accounts. ● To participate in the definition of annual sponsorship roadmap based on company strategy and meet actions in all categories as defined in Brand Annual Roadmap and Brand Strategy. ● To propose business cases and possible revenue opportunities lay beneath sponsorship programs. ● To define an ROI and effectiveness measuring system for all sponsorship activities and evaluate them accordingly. ● To build and maintain strong relationships and proactive collaboration with potential sponsors, clubs as well as internal divisions and supporters, through securing and leading new sponsorship opportunities. ● To develop and implement a sponsorship calendar for increasing brand awareness and adoption aligned with strategy in a cost-effective manner. ● To be responsible for all activities regarding MTNIrancell and partners present in key exhibitions in Telecom Industry e.g. Telecom and Elecomp and to ensure all MTNIrancell Products and services are being exhibited appropriately based on MKT requirements. ● To support the delivery of all external events with collaboration of involving divisions ● To monitor and evaluate direct marketing agencies in sponsorship events and campaigns. ● To negotiate and communicate with agencies and affiliate partners and other departments to make the best situation for events and sponsorships. ● To develop, maintain and implement sponsorship program guidelines to increase sponsorship recruitment, satisfaction, and support. ● To be responsible for sponsor prospecting, proposal customization, presentation, contract revision, and servicing, sponsor follow-up and support, trade shows the development and representing the company at industry functions.

Requirements

Education: ● Bachelor's degree in Commerce (Marketing or Communications) or other related fields. Experience: ● Minimum of 3 years experience in sponsorships and events management.; with experience in supervising others. Technical competencies: ● Opex Management. ● Project Management. ● Event Management. ● Field Marketing. ● Sponsorship Management. ● Feasibility Study.
