Software Product Marketing Manager

The successful candidate will be responsible for positioning, promoting, driving awareness, supporting marketing initiatives and leading the product marketing activities for business Analytics investment and risk management software developer for bank, corporations, investment and asset management firms. In this role you will work closely with product management teams to gather, analyze, share market intelligence, identify and evangelize customer needs, define and implement product marketing programs and processes, and provide content and support for pipeline creation, acceleration and customer expansion. Responsibilities: Global - Provide market research to understand competitive profiling and positioning differentiators and how that manifests itself in messaging and positioning. - Development of the product value proposition and messaging. - Utilize the messaging to develop customer facing collateral, as well as HPE sales and channel sales enablement material. - Develop and manage the execution of the go-to-market (GTM) plan for the developed software and key marketing initiatives and programs focused on driving demand.

Requirements

Education and Experience Required: Education: PhD or Master’s degree in a marketing or communications related discipline. An equivalent combination of education and work experience may be taken into consideration in lieu of a degree. Experience: Minimum of four years' related experience in marketing enterprise software products, with at least 2 years in a field-facing role. Technical Competencies: - Strong understanding of Financial Services Industry, Banking and Holding Companies. - Strong negotiation, problem management, copy-writing and relationship management skills. Behavioral Competencies: - Results-oriented, creative, highly communicative and independent - while being able to enlist the support of others. - Methodical, organized and dependable. Able to translate ideas into action, and manage multiple projects and priorities concurrently, while demonstrating flexibility and creativity. - Analytically inclined, understanding what data means and how to apply it to identify opportunities and solve problems. - Teamwork, interpersonal and relationship-building skills; strong leader and player with proven ability to facilitate cross-organizational alignment.
