Job Description

The software development documentation specialist will support an Information Technology (IT) system in a Government environment. This position requires a Police Check with Inquiries clearance. The successful candidate will provide document generation, storage, and document revision management for all software development and system documentation. He or she will recommend improvements to the documentation process including identifying best practices and establishing documentation templates. Experience required for this position includes writing/editing IT documents, using Commercial Off-the-Shelf (COTS) and other desktop applications, and working within software development processes for coding and implementing software.
