Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Software Developer with a storied history in the technological sector who will be tasked with making executive technology decisions on behalf of the company. You should be a strategic thinker, an effective communicator and an expert in technological development. You will act as both a technology and business expert, making decisions that will impact the current and future operations of the company. Responsibilities: • Helping the technology team to set a vision for how technology will be used in the company. • Participate in all software design and development tasks. • Ensuring that the technological resources meet the company's short and long-term needs. • Acting as a mentor to other team members. • Maintaining a consumer-focused outlook and aiding in the delivering of IT projects to market. • Staying on top of technology trends and developments. • Ensuring all technology practices adhere to regulatory standards.

Requirements

Bachelors or Master’s degree in Computer Science or related field. • Expert in at least one object oriented programming language (Java, C#, etc.). A type safe language is preferred. • Extensive knowledge of Object Oriented Programming. • Advanced web development skills. • 5 years working in a technological role. • Advanced technological skill set and a demonstrated history with technology. • Preferably managerial experience and team management skills • Excellent verbal and written communication. • Ability to delegate efficiently. • Extensive industry knowledge with an eye towards the future.
