Job Description
•Main Objective: Working in a multi-disciplinary team including geologists, seismic processors and seismic interpreters working under supervision of Team Leader. Applicant will provide structural and stratigraphic analysis to allow the seismic interpretation team to update their interpretations and geological understanding from the study area, also provides 2D/3D restoration to support the seismic interpretation team and validate the interpretation results in term of geological concepts. All geological deliverables must be produced according to best practices standards. •Main Responsibilities: -Providing Base Case Geological Model (BCGM) -Provide geological feedback on structural settings and evolution for seismic interpretation -Performing structural analysis to determine geological evolution -2D/3D restoration for validating seismic interpretation -Providing seismo stratigraphy and sequence stratigraphy interpretation -Interpret and integrate seismic data with geological data -Preparing appropriate technical reports, weekly report and presentation -Review and preparing technical Tender documents
Requirements
-M.S. or PhD Degree in Geology -At least 10 years work experience in Geology of Iran, Regional Geology and Tectonic of Zagros -Expert in standard geological modeling software such as Petrel and 2D/3D Move -Proven high performance working in a multi-disciplinary team -Proven forward looking thinker who actively seeks opportunities and innovative solutions -Performing at least five projects related to required items in job description -Exhibit strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite -Fluent technical writing and verbal communication skills are required -Familiar with seismic interpretation & RC -Familiar with sweet spot detection -Expert in well correlation analysis and Log editing
