Job Description
We are looking for sharp testers, who are passionate about product quality and the user’s perspective. You will join a tightly-knit team of programmers and testers and DevOps, who are working on exciting high-tech products with wide reach and challenging requirements. The products are all network devices that are being used in hundreds of networks. This is a truly agile team, where you get to plan, track and improve your own work as a team, and do research, requirement analysis, testing, writing automated tests, and help fix bugs. You will act as the voice of the user, coordinating and communicating extensively with the Product Owner and other stakeholders to make sure user needs are being communicated and implemented flawlessly, as well as teach testing skills to your programmer teammates and help them become great testers as you are. You will also help your team in other areas such as process improvement, documentation, and shell scripting.
Requirements
Specifically, we are looking for: ● At least 1 to 3 years of working experience. ● Experience in Linux administration, configuration, and networking. ● Experience in networking. (Holding a CCNA or CCNP is a big plus). ● Familiar with firewalls and UTMs. ● A testing attitude, one who prides oneself on finding bugs, wherever they hide. ● Ability to understand and troubleshoot network device configuration in complex network topologies. ● A relentless learning and improving attitude; one who is never satisfied with the status quo and strives to learn new skills and improve the product and the process of developing and testing it. ● A team-working and positive, “can do” attitude; ability to get along with others. ● Familiarity with programming and test automation; willing to automate tests e.g. in Java. ● Familiarity with Agile software development, including Scrum and XP, esp. Agile testing.
