Job Description

Main Objective: As Logistics & Operations Manager you are responsible for Organizing the importation, storage of products, distribution of goods and commercial negotiations with customers, in order to ensure the right products are delivered to the right location on time and at a good cost and at compliant and commercially attractive and sustainable terms and also to define, drive and execute Novo Nordisk Pars Logistics and operations Strategy and head the Novo Nordisk Pars Operations and Logistics team. The Senior Logistics and Operations Manager position requires a high level of interaction with various stakeholders both internally and externally. These includes local authorities responsible for product importation planning and releasing, Iranian Customs Authorities, Product Supply and Supply Chain related functions, other functional heads in region and HQ. Main Responsibilities: - Drive strategy implementation for the Logistics and Operations function to ensure future development of the function - Main driver of the wholesalers in market performance including financial performance in terms of sales and collections - Anchor the S&OP process centrally, drive initiatives related to it and support Iran Management in its roll-out - Key contact and responsibility-holder for planning, execution and communication with Product Supply and Supply Chain Planning - Support the Distribution Optimization in Iranian market with focus on developing the physical market access of Novo Nordisk products on a national level - Critical link between Novo Nordisk Pars wholesalers, Iran management and aligning the strategies in line with business need. - Lead commercial negotiations with customers (distributors, wholesalers) - Lead collection process and hold day to day follow up and negotiations for a solid financial performance of customers.

Requirements

- Master degree preferably in Economics or Business Administration - Minimum of 8+ years of working experience within logistics or commercial operations roles - Capability of strategic thinking and bringing the organization towards the defined goals - Strong analytical skills - Experience of working in cross-cultural teams and cross-organizational stakeholder management - Excellent command of English (both writing and speaking)
