Job Description
As Senior IT Systems Administrator, you will be responsible for the operation and maintenance of the IT server and network infrastructure to ensure that IT services are functional, secure, reliable, and compliant with Novo Nordisk standards, Tasks include performing daily system monitoring, verifying the integrity and availability of hardware, server resources, systems and key processes, reviewing system and application logs, verifying completion of scheduled jobs, ensuring that backups are running successfully, implementing security updates, carrying out planned replacement and configuration of equipment, refining operation, maintenance and business continuity procedures, ensuring that telecommunications infrastructure is operating as expected, and analyzing/resolving technical issues. You will carry out system administration, user administration, hardware and software roll-outs, and provide user support/training in partnership with the IT team.
Requirements
-University Bachelor’s degree -At least 5 years of experience in IT systems administration and user support -Advanced analytical and problem solving abilities -Management. Experience with Huawei equipment will be an advantage -Strong networking and interpersonal skills -Collaboration with cross-culture teams both locally and overseas will be required -Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Server 2012R2 -Microsoft Active Directory administration -Microsoft SCCM administration -File share administration -Microsoft Print Server administration -Microsoft Endpoint Protection with WSUS -Good knowledge of network devices including firewall, switch and wireless configuration -Backup configuration and administration. Experience with Bacula and Tandberg tape backup solutions will be an advantage -Experience with Linux (OpenBSD) environments will be an advantage -Strong command of the English language, both written and oral
