Job Description

•Evaluates business opportunities against our knowledge of available technology solutions, to improve productivity. •Manages the level of customer satisfaction, by responding to customers’ queries, encouraging customers to take part in the continuous improvement of the products and services supplied. •Through business consultancy, support the functions in managing business partnerships between Business and IT. •Provide guidance to Business in terms of information technology innovation and means of exploitation through assessing future technologies that will enhance business performance. •Supports and Co-ordinates IT related business enhancement activities to ensure continued speed, direction, implementation and benefits achievement in line with business objectives. •Manages the Business IT portfolio of projects and change requests, ensuring the measurement of the value created against agreed plans and feedback on their success, issues and opportunities. •Negotiates and manages the Operational level Agreements between business and IT (where applicable). •Engage in open, effective and mature conversation at all levels of the organization to give input, shares knowledge and obtain learning within a team context. •Build trust and establish authentic relationships through own behavior and actions to enhance relationships between Business and IT. •Acts as an effective spokesperson in dealing with external stakeholders (IT associations and core IT suppliers). •Engage with others in accordance with company's business and guiding principles. •Network and liaise effectively with Management in Business and IT. •Manages a project to cost, quality and time requirements. •Budget Management (Both Operating Expenses and Capital Expenditure) •Understands relevant aspects of Financial and Budgetary controls. •Supplier Management – CRITICAL, suppliers are domestic and international working in a multi-cultural environment. •Analysis, Benchmarks, challenges and designs of low complexity processes and data models. •System Build and Implementation. •Systems implementation within a complex project/program environment. •Proficient with ITIL and having worked with global vendors in Problem Management

Requirements

•Degree in related discipline with 5-8 years relevant IT experience •English fluency •A broad knowledge of business, preferably in a Manufacturing/Logistics/FMCG company, and an understanding of the impact of IT. •Project management Knowledge, PRINCE 2 preferred. •Strong business analysis and creative thinking together with high credibly when operating outside the IT function. •Line management experience for small to mid-size teams. •Coaching and Mentoring skills along with ability to build robust development plans for teams of various skill levels. •Expertise in applying business and data analysis techniques, has a practical understanding of systems development methodology. •Understanding of integrated business processes and the functional inter dependencies involved. •Highly mature with strong interpersonal skills.
