Job Description

We are currently seeking a motivated, hardworking, and experienced senior CCTV access control systems engineer with solid experience in feasibility studies and cost estimation, conceptual, basic, and detail design engineering, FEED, installation, commissioning, FAT/SAT, integration, and testing with experience in steel, power generation, Oil and Gas, railway industries to join our growing team. In this role you will be responsible for the define, implementing, directing, developing, overseeing, and management of projects and making any necessary adjustments in order to ensure successful completion. In terms of reporting and responsibilities, the figure will respond to the CEO. Responsibilities: ● Ensure planned engineering progress with respect to the engineering deliverables for tenders and awarded projects, planning, scheduling, preparation of progress reports, resource forecasts, time schedules, and utilization of resources effectively and efficiently. ● Manage schedules and work to tight deadlines. ● Review of client documents, drawings, datasheets, specifications, and calculations for all the required process aspects. ● Detail design based on applicable rules and regulations. ● Define and manage the CCTV and access control systems scope of work for engineering and design. ● Prepare all CCTV and access control systems documents and deliverables such as design criteria, specifications, system architecture, datasheets, calculations, location layout, cable routing layout, wiring diagram, mounting details, MTO, MR, technical clarification, TBE, CBE, and P.O. ● Design, review, and implementation of all security systems functions (CCTV, access control systems) in compliance with drawings, required specifications, and standards. ● Prepare all telecom and security documents and deliverables such as design criteria, specifications, system architecture, datasheets, calculations, location layout, cable routing layout, wiring diagram, mounting details, MTO, MR, technical clarification, TBE, CBE and P.O ● Design, review, and implementation of all telecom and security systems functions (CCTV, Access Control Systems, Radio Systems, Telephone, Networking, Fiber optic, PAGA) in compliance with drawings, required specifications, and standards. ● Prepare and deliver all telecom design documents required during the Proposal stage such as block diagrams, datasheets, technical write-up, bill of material, deviation list, and system compliance document. ● Prepare engineering documents and drawings during the detailed engineering stage of various projects in the Oil and Gas industry. ● Maintain control of the schedule, cost, safety, customer expectations, and satisfaction at all times. ● Provide guidance and advice for alternative proposals if required. ● Client training and demonstration of systems to explain the systems working and functionality. ● Coordinate with government authorities and awareness of updated laws and regulations ● Prepare technical and commercial proposals considering the minimum requirement and report deviations, suggesting competitive alternatives. ● Review estimates and quotes with the team prior to submittal. ● Interface with subcontractors, suppliers, vendors, and clients. ● Review and approve vendor documents related to telecom and security equipment. ● Evaluate vendor offers and ensures technical close-out prior to the placement of purchase orders. ● Liaise with the client to obtain necessary specifications related to valve inquiries. ● Review and record the minimum requirements and implement the same in the project deliverables. ● Participate in engineering meetings, KOM and PIM and generate the document based on VPIS. ● Prepare all documents and drawings approved by the client (AFC or AN) and provide the Final Data Book (FDB). ● Participate in F.A.T. and SAT activities at vendor workshops.
