Job Description

Position Intro: As Senior Accountant you will be responsible for Managing and supervising various operations in the Accounting Division and Assists the Country Controller & Chief accountant in the analysis of financial issues. This would be a full time job. Key Responsibilities: - Managing, supervising and assisting in the preparation of the financial and management reports and statements as per the group guidelines. - Ensure that all accounting documents and monthly entries are properly booked, printed and signed. - Ensure reconciliation of Accounts on a monthly basis. - Analyzing prepayment, provisions & staff advances & Loans accounts on a monthly basis. - Assist in Budgetary Control for company expenses. - Monitoring bank reconciliation on a monthly basis and ensure closing all aged items. - Ensure Fixed Assets of the company are protected through proper recording and verification. - Perform and manage a physical asset inventory twice a year and reconciliation of physical asset inventory v/s system records - Ensure Financial and accounting accuracy. - Participate in quarterly stock counting. - Liaise with other departments for any financial issue (HR, supply chain, Sales,…) - Liaise with the external and Internal Auditors. - Assist in any other finance related issues as required
