Job Description

A sales manager is responsible for meeting the sales targets of the organization through effective planning and budgeting. Direct and coordinate activities involving sales of manufactured products Develop a sales strategy to achieve organizational sales goals and revenues Establishes sales objectives by forecasting and developing annual sales quotas for regions and territories Advise dealers and distributors on policies and operating procedures to ensure functional effectiveness of business. Assess marketing potential of new and existing store locations, considering statistics and expenditures. Plan and direct staffing, training, and performance evaluations to develop and control sales and service programs Plan to ensure achievement of divisional and personal target, aligning with company sales policies and strategies Oversee regional and local sales managers and their staffs. Defines and implements measures to continuously improve sales results (growth, profit margins, and productivity). Ensures accurate forecasting of annual, quarterly and monthly revenue streams and monitors actual results to evaluate performance to target Meet with customers to discuss their evolving needs and to assess the quality of our company’s relationship with them Generate timely sales reports Continually assess current business distribution channels, develop and evaluate their performance and manage conflict ensuring alignment with territory plans

Requirements

Business degree or related professional qualification Minimum 5 years of professional experience particularly in food or other FMCG industries Experience in all aspects of planning and implementing sales strategy Experience in managing and directing a sales team Problem analysis and problem-solving Good MS office skills Ability to work under pressure Team work and leadership skills
