Job Description

Sales engineering: ● Develop and oversee the execution of sales plans for the region. ● Lead sales to achieve marketing business plans, and budgets, drive top-line results, and support and consult the customers. ● Monitor sales performance for the engineered Polymers segment communication. ● Conduct and conclude negotiations with key customers. ● Work closely with marketing counterparts, and sales force and create a collaborative environment for enhancing sales growth for the product segment within the region. ● Develop and manage high-level and strategic account interaction. People management: ● Manage and motivate the direct reports and sales teams within the region. ● Responsible for the development of sales management and staff within the assigned area/country/region, to include training and development, promotion, succession planning, compensation to meet business growth plans.

Requirements

Education: ● Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business, or Polymer Engineering. Experience: ● 5 years of experience in sales/marketing roles, in sales and distribution of chemicals in the Polymer and Plastic Industry. ● Technical and/or sales experience in engineered plastics business preferably. Knowledge and skills: ● Thorough understanding of the engineered polymers industry segment. ● Excellent interpersonal skills, cultural sensitivity, social competence, and a strong team player. ● Senior ability for planning, development, and implementation of sales and marketing strategies/business plans. ● Strong entrepreneurial spirit. ● Highly motivated and results-orientated person, perseverant, able to work with limited daily supervision. ● People management skills. Other requirements: ● Strong verbal and written communication skills to persuade customers. ● Willingness to travel up to 60% and work a flexible schedule to include evenings, weekends, and overnight travel. ● Excellent command of both oral and written English.
