Job Description

- Account management, order forecasting, and order closure are the three main responsibilities (see below) - Strong communication skills and commitment to a Team Environment to ensure Engineering & Manufacturing Departments are advised and understand order profiles, prior to order closure/acceptance - Can comfortably interface with operation and engineering colleagues in Abhar office as required - Use standard previous designed cables to register client's order and if the product is new set a meeting with engineering department to ensure their new order is done in cable building function in engineering. - Ensure technical proposals to the clients are sent to them on time and meets their expectations. - Prepare tender documents for company participation. - Make sure contracts are in line with company's preferable and the client's request. - Works closely with finance departments to make sure the client's payments are done on-time and helps anytime to fasten this process. - Incorporates self-management and planning in a highly organized manner to ensure customer profile data is accurately kept, meetings are held on a regular basis with both domestic and international customers, and visit reports with action requirements are filed in a timely manner - Determine customer strategic goals and objectives, develop and maintain accurate forecast information - Support all management initiatives and communicate in an open, honest manner using diplomacy when needed to improve team effectiveness - Able to gain strong working knowledge of the industry and client's need related business practices including collecting and organizing industry information on competitor’s products and services, industry trends and specifications for new product development - Promote “AC” products and services. - Conduct product presentations, can compile and issue product quotations and proposals. - Organize and attend trade shows as requested. - Manage product transportation from the warehouse to the clients in close relationship with logistic department. For international clients, custom clearance is included. - Make sure all governmental documents are gained if required specially for international clients in their country. - In close relationship with other functions in sales department including engineering, sales strategy and customer care. - Refers any complaint to customer care. - Make sure clients visits to the factory are managed via customer care. - Visits the factory for product checking if needed. - Travels are included in this job. - Hands on working knowledge with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook) - Any other responsibility assigned by the direct manager. Objective of the role: The Sales Engineer role is a hands-on Sales Position in the Sales & Marketing Team with great growth potential. This position also requires extensive Market Knowledge in Cable Industry and a high degree of customer contact. The primary objective is to identify order opportunities, develop and implement action plans for order closures and maintain good customer working relationships in the Cable Market. Reporting to: Sales manager.

Requirements

- At least 3 years experience in sales and engineering - Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering preferably Electrical Engineering - Ability to solve problems in analysis and provide the right solution - Ability to work in a team with all units and departments and provide assistance and support to others upon request - Team working and supporting offers - The ability to manage situations in stressful situations and have the ability to make decisions in limited time with limited information. - Ability to organize and pay attention to details - Ability to adapt to different working conditions. - Effective communication skills and ability to prepare and present to clients - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and to coordinate and perform multiple tasks - Operating system software (cable builder, oracle) - Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook) - Ideal Age Range: 30 - 35
