We have an exciting opening for the position of Sales Director, based in Iran. As a Sales Director, you will report to the VP and General Manager. The position: As a Sales Director, you will define and drive sales strategy for all portfolios of the affiliate to reach 100% of total affiliate sales. You will also lead, develop and implement both strategic and tactical national sales plans in collaboration with the marketing team (mapping buying process, market segmentation, competitor analysis, scenario and contingency planning as well as Investigating private market opportunities) in alignment with affiliate strategies and Global and Regional directions. You will lead efforts in securing the product distribution optimization and product availability all over the country in line with the sales target of the affiliate. You will build regional sales capability and manage sales managers in order to reach and exceed sales targets. Your main accountabilities will be: ● Leading negotiations with IFDA departments and universities and big pharmacy chains to secure optimized distribution of Novo Nordisk products. ● Delivering sales objectives as agreed in AB (sales and market share), leading frontline operations based on commercial excellence Inputs, monitoring pre-and post-launch performance in the frontline, and leading, monitoring, reviewing, and reporting on sales activity and results. ● Ensuring effective opinion leader and key stakeholder management and development in collaboration with medical and other cross-functional colleagues. ● Contributing to cross-functional launch teams and realizing the implementation of pre-launch and launch plans relevant in the frontline. ● Sharing best practices and leading other cross-functional or strategic projects as required by the business including providing support and backup for peers.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, we require you to have a Bachelor’s degree. You should be fluent in both English and Farsi. To be effective in this role, it is mandatory to have: ● At least 3 years of strategic leadership experience in the pharmaceutical industry. ● Product and Portfolio knowledge. ● Business and Industry understanding.
