Summary:
The main focus of the sales and marketing manager is to lead commercial operations in the local market, defining sales and marketing strategy to achieve sales results in both short and medium terms, in alignment with Roche's global goals and strategies. Establishing business priorities and guaranteeing the strategic focus with the right resource allocation assures the effectiveness of the sales, clinician promotion, IT, and marketing team to maximize results and maintain a competitive advantage against competitors. Shares best practices and develops the professional skills of the team.
The sales and marketing manager reports to the head of diagnostics.
You Will Be Responsible For:
- Translate Roche diagnostics’ strategy into the local market. Develops local strategy and implements marketing and sales plan to achieve commercial success, increase market share, and meet sales and marketing targets and KPIs.
- Lead the team of sales and marketing to develop their skills, increase their commitment, and delegate authority when required.
- Forecast and submit five five-year business plans.
- Align the sales and marketing action plans and cascade them over the entire organization. Ensures effective execution of the activities as per defined plans.
- Achieve commercial success of new products in the market, with sound planning and resource allocation.
- Define guidelines for prices and terms to ensure the best deals are secured, in compliance with pricing strategy and positioning.
- Control the sales and marketing budget and resource allocation.
- Review and authorize customers' offers and contracts.

Who You Are:
- You have a Bachelor's/Master’s degree in Life Sciences, Laboratory, Biochemical, or equivalent.
- You have at least 7 years of track record and experience in sales and marketing in the IVD industry and 3 to 4 years of leadership competencies with a proven track of successful change management and leading through adversity with difficult decision making.
- You can analyze all aspects of the business to make informed business decisions.
- You have proven people management competencies.
- You have excellent convincing skills with the ability to present.
- You have demonstrable planning and organization skills.
- You are fluent in English and Farsi in both spoken and written.
