Job Description

1. Ensure full compliance to SIPC’s and Client’s HSE Program at the project site; 2. Advise and assist site personnel in corrective actions and preventive measures necessary to carry out the proper implementation of the HSE program; 3. Signing complementary working at height and lifting certificates as specified in PTW procedure and signing PTW as AGT; 4. Ensuring that all safety equipment is checked on a regular basis; 5. Ensure that any people breaking Life Saving Rules to be reported to line supervisors and managers; 6. Plan, develop and implement all mines and UXO safety issues (authorized safety officer); 7. Intervene and stop activities which he/she believes is imposing immediate threat to safety of personnel or serious environmental pollution; 8. Conduct safety monitoring and safety standby of activities permitted within project, ensure all site activities being done under safety condition; 9. Provide guidance, advice and assistance in the implementation of the HSE Program. 10. Carry out frequent site inspections in addition to the official weekly inspections of all project areas under SIPC’s scope of work for which he is responsible and to bring to the management attention all deficiencies for subsequent safety compliance; 11. Conduct and participate in JSA meetings; 12. Coordinate site first aid and rescue procedures; 13. Assist in HSE audits & HSE management site inspection; 14. Conduct investigation of any injury to personnel, loss or damage to property including near misses; 15. Ensure that any equipment on site is suitable and provided with necessary valid certificate and to draw management attention to any defect or deficiency; 16. Set himself as an example in the performance of utmost HSE compliance; 17. Conduct other activities arranged by supervisors.
