Job Description

Study and research on Positive Displacement Pumps specifically Metering Pumps Mastering API 675, 674 and other relevant international standards with the aim of modifying current design of pumps Performing required calculation for flawless function of Metering Pumps Selection of proper pump model/type for each application Preparing technical proposals as per clients’ material requisitions Material selection for both wetted and non-wetted parts taking account of corrosion/erosion compatibility issues Conducting Finite Element Analysis to analyze stress caused by pump pressures using relevant software (e.g. ANSYS) Preparing NPSH and Power calculations and report sheets Preparing documents for Oil and Gas projects such as Mechanical datasheets, Utility Consumption List, Lubricant List, Special tools List, Bill of Materials … Pulsation analysis of fluctuating process fluid and sizing/selection of proper Pulsation Dampener Reporting to: Engineering Manager Duration: 1-year contract Desired start date: As soon as possible Probation: 3 Months Working hours: Sat-Wed: 8:00 – 17:30 Working Office: Payam Special Economic Complex, Mehrshahr, Karaj, Iran Travel requirements: Hamedan, Assaluyeh (Occasional)

Requirements

Having minimum BSc. degree in mechanical Engineering from reputable Governmental Universities Minimum 2 years of related experience Good communication and team working skill Familiar with following software and skills: - AutoCAD Mechanical - Solidworks - ANSYS / FLUENT - GD&T Preferably familiar with API standards (API 675/674) Preferably familiar with Metering Pumps (Reciprocating Pumps) Responsible & well-organized Sufficient knowledge of practical software such as MS Office Excellent ability in web searching Good report writing skills Excellent Teamwork skills Gender Preference: Male Nationality Preference: Iranian Language Skills: English Current Residence: Karaj
