Job Description

● Perform reservoir modeling studies to aid concerned management to make decisions regarding the development of the field, predicting future production, planning for additional wells, and evaluating alternative reservoir management scenarios. ● Perform all departmental initiatives, processes, and activities in conformance with the organization's established policies and objectives and take corrective actions when necessary. ● Analyze well test and production logging data to devise optimum pressure depletion patterns and well flow assurance patterns and strategies. ● Take charge of executing the reservoir surveillance program. ● Support the production engineering department in performing well testing, production logging test analysis, workover, and completion strategies. ● Support the Production/Well Management Section Head in preparing long-term forecasts, annual development strategies, and production plans and programs. ● Ensure auditing and reporting requirements of the department are properly observed and met. ● Resolve escalated issues arising from operations and requiring coordination with other departments under the leadership of the reservoir engineering manager. ● Trace the reservoir performance and prepare routine reports including daily, weekly, monthly, annual reports. ● Generate and distribute reservoir performance analysis reports. ● Research and suggest the most sophisticated technologies to perform operational activities. ● Ensure full compliance of department activities with HSE regulations and policies and be well-trained about his/her role in the company emergency response plan. ● Act as department contract holder in accordance with SIPC Iran contract management policy and procedure if applicable. ● Conduct reservoir simulation studies which include data analysis, history matching using available production data and prediction of wells and reservoir performance, remaining reserve analysis as well as stimulation recommendation. ● Monitor and optimize gas lift performance, diagnose any anomalies, and recommend engineering solutions. Utilize software applications for gas lift optimization. ● Monitor and analyze well performance and field decline using decline curve analysis and through the evolution of key parameters such as GOR, Pressure, and WOR against production profiles, tracking daily performance and cross check with forecasts developed looking for deviations. ● Responsive to internal or external auditing practices.

Requirements

● At least 3 years of experience in the same field with a proven track record. ● Knowledge of the practical application of reservoir engineering science and technology, including applying principles, techniques, procedures, and equipment to the design and perform operational activities. ● Communication: to adjust the tone and style according to the audience, comprehend and act efficiently on instructions, and explain complex issues to colleagues and clients alike. ● Teamwork: to have the intuition and interpersonal acumen to know when to be a listener, and to be perceptive, as well as receptive to the needs and responsibilities of others. ● Flexibility: to demonstrate an ability and willingness to acquire new hard skills, and an open-mindedness to new tasks and new challenges, to show a willing and upbeat attitude. ● Ability to Work under Pressure and Time Management: to think clearly and to have the capacity to compartmentalize and set stress aside within tight deadlines. Technology skills: ● Familiar with OFM. ● Analytical and scientific software related to reservoir engineering such as PETREL RE. ● Electronic mail software. ● Database management software. ● Office, presentation software, spreadsheet, and word processing software. ● Familiar with Decline Curve Analysis as well as Rate Transient Analysis. ● English is the official language of the company.
