Job Description

As a Regional Sale Manager, you are responsible for the full implementation of field sales plans & business development plans for all distributors to deliver sustainable channel growth within his / her region. He /She lead and represent the company selling process and is fully responsible for achieving the sales targets while maintaining strong relationship with customers / distributors. Main responsibilities • Responsible for Distributors sales performance within region • Responsible to actively participate within process and support definition of Field Sales Strategy to implement Channel Category and Customers Plans and ensure achievement of agreed targets/KPIs for the Region and needs to manage Distributors and sales performance within whole region. • Implement, follow up and update the Regional Field Sales Plan based on the Cycle Plan. Provide quality feedback/input into the process for the next planning period • Ensure that core distribution, coverage and visibility objectives are met in his/her respective area and distributors and coordinate with Chanel Category Sales Development Managers to ensure local promotions are consistent with Area/Category objectives and successfully implemented in the trade. Responsible to develop, negotiate, implement & monitor Customer/Channel Business Plans in alignment with Business Objectives and plan, manage and optimize the trade investment for each distributor. • Responsible to develop and manage the long-term effective business relationships with distributors and business development by penetrating new stores and exploring new business opportunities • Responsible for leading Field Sales team and needs to update and measure performances of the Field Sales organization Structure within the Region against defined KPIs as well as the development of careers, succession plans, development and coaching of the team • Ensure adherence to all Company principles and policies including /local Trade policy, local Trade Terms, • Responsible for maintaining an up-to-date Annual Business Plan for each distributor and needs to forecast sales volumes for Area/Unit (Part of Monthly Business Planning Cycle • Lead, manage, develop and inspire the Field Sales Team as well as developing long-term effective business relationships with distributors. • Ensure sustainable achievement of expected results in terms of KPIs and fundamentals like coverage, distribution, in-store visibility/availability in respective area • Implement, follow and measure the monthly targets week by week in order to ensure reaching the area's targets and increasing sales of Company’s product • Assign sales territories, breakdown sales targets and establish efficient routs for the team of sales force • Build a sales plan, analyze data, prepare required reports and provide market insight for sales development and Marketing team • Establish and Maintain relationship with existing customers / distributors and resolve complaints regarding sales and service • Lead team's development and training in a positive spirit driving at fair evaluation of individual performances • Understand business need and bring practical strategies to overcome obstacles

Requirements

• related field, food industry, FMCG experience is an advantage/ 5 years of experience in sales and distribution field (At least 2 years in managerial position) • Significant experience of managing sales force and working with distributors • Familiar with sales and distribution fundamentals and KPIs • Strong verbal and written communication skills • Excellent negotiation and conflict management skills • Strong computer skills and professional user of MS Office (Especially Excel and PowerPoint) • Ability to motivate and lead a team • Capable of delivering quick solutions to the marketing troubles and overcome obstacles • Work calmly and positive under pressure • Willing and eager to travel frequently
