Job Description

-Motivate and lead the team of Sales Account Managers to meet and exceed revenue targets and active merchant goals -Oversee the sales team by providing day-to-day management, coaching and feedback in large group, small group and one-on-one conversations -Develop, train, mentor and supervise team members on all sales and service aspects including pipeline management, people management, sales and merchant service skills -Provide feedback, guidance, and coaching to direct reports regarding communication, organisation, efficiency and knowledge of client’s products -Identify and implement strategic operational and process improvement opportunities which drive higher levels of organisational efficiency -Analyze and manage individual Sales Team members including expectation setting, monitoring and reporting, and qualitative and quantitative performance assessment in line with HR standards -Coach Sales Team members on basic business concepts like accounting, finance, marketing, deal structuring, objection handling and expectation management -Communicate the best approach to Sales Team on merchant business categories and sectors, including (but not limited to): products and/or services, consumer demographics, points of competitive differentiation, merchant economic models, revenue and profit drivers -Partner with department heads to develop and execute overall strategy for the Sales Team

Requirements

-Bachelor’s Degree -Minimum 12 years of FMCG / consumer products with a strong sales and channel management background -Track record of strong performance, growing sales teams and increasing revenue and profitability -Evidence of successfully leading others to meet and exceed measurable sales and revenue goals. -Strong communication and interpersonal skills, business acumen and coaching abilities -Ability to mentor, develop, and motivate sales personnel -Ability to plan and carry out job responsibilities thoroughly, efficiently and with minimal direction -Results-driven with proven experience in achieving and exceeding set target -Well organized; able to manage multiple priorities -Strategic thinker; able to bring order to chaotic environment -Demonstrated ability to execute high-level initiatives -Effective communication skills with the ability to articulate business value; ability to interface with senior executives -No restrictions for travelling to abroad -Gender Preference: Male -Ideal Age Range: 32 - 49
