POSITION SUMMARY: We are excited to be recruiting for this key position, reporting into General Operation Manager – Nutrition, Nestlé Iran and we are looking for an experienced professional to lead the Nestlé’s Nutrition Medical Filed Team. The core role focuses on coordination & supervision of planning and subsequent implementation of medical detailing operations through Medical Field Managers (MFMs) and medical delegates as per company guidelines. You are responsible for developing and grooming the Medical Filed Managers and exhibiting good leadership attributes to motivate the team towards optimal performance. A DAY IN THE LIFE … • The first part of any day is planning and implementation of medical detailing activities in the zone in strict compliance with WHO / Local Code and Nestlé Instructions. You are responsible for coordination and participation at medical conferences though Nestlé Nutrition Iran platform, liaise with Medical Advisor for providing resources for implementation of scientific activities. Also help Medical Advisor in identifying and developing contact with KOLs for respective activities. • To empower individuals and encourage them, you as team leader needs to take responsibility for training and coaching of the team. Coaching the Medical Filed Managers consistently on the job and in office to enhance their professional competencies and enable them for their next role are part of your main responsibilities. • You are the ‘mouthpiece’ of Nestlé Iran, and as such you quite often get pulled into meetings to lead Business Planning Process with different stakeholders. You need to organize regular team meetings with Field Team to share plans from management, strategic activities for effective execution, update on area plans, review performance and facilitate discussions. Also Maintain effective control and monitoring of operational costs within budget and maximize the return of investment are the core task of this job. • KOL Management at the regional level is the key to your success as you need to predict the evolution of trends in HCPs, identify the health trends within the assigned zone and help and coach the team to modify plans accordingly. • You are accountable to analyze and provide action plans for availability of products at pharmacies channel in coordination with sales. Also you are in charge of providing leadership through implementation in high risk and emergency situations like people issues, health crisis, law and order • The most critical part of your job is "WHO and Local Code Compliance which means all the employees will strictly abide by the WHO/ Local Code in the execution of their job in its letter and spirit. Employees are prohibited from making any direct contact with pregnant women and mothers of infants and young children in their business capacity. As part of their job, the employees will refrain from making any direct contact with pregnant women and mothers even for the purpose of providing informational or educational function"

Requirements

WHAT WILL MAKE YOU SUCCESSFUL? • Experience at least 7 Years in Marketing and sales preferably in Nutrition/ Pharmaceutical industry in the local market including knowledge about products, competitor awareness and KOL’s. • Since you manage a lot of stakeholders you must have a strong leadership skills and be good in impacting and convincing others. Academicals Degree in Nutrition, Pharm, Business Administration, economics, or any related fields is required. • A lot of the work we do is local as well as global, so it’s essential you have strong language skills in English and Farsi -both spoken and written. • You need to have ability to deal closely with contacts and build strong, sustainable relationships.
