Job Description Research and development Expert, develop new Products Portfolio (Furniture, accessories) , redesign existing portfolios, and perform research and testing on products. R&D expert have an important role in launching new Products and will focus heavily on getting existing Products in new markets. Environmental monitoring and keeping track of what is happening in different markets is a natural part of the work, not least as regards new possibilities. A R&D Expert performs the following Tasks: - Conducts product evaluations: Evaluate Products, based on factors such as appearance, safety, function, serviceability, budget, production methods, and market characteristics. - Participate in product portfolio planning or market research, including studying the potential need for new products. - Research product (Furniture, accessories) specifications, materials and manufacturing methods and provide requirements. - reviewing information from Products design, materials, events, or the environment to improve operations and product quality. - Investigate product characteristics such as the product's safety and handling qualities, its market appeal, how efficiently it can be produced, and ways of distributing, using and maintaining it. - Modify and refine designs, using available models, to conform with customer specifications, production limitations, or changes in design trends. - Confer with engineering, marketing, production, or sales departments, or with customers, to establish and evaluate design concepts for Furniture Products. - Evaluating Information to Determine Compliance with Standards: Using relevant information and individual judgment to determine whether events or processes comply with laws, regulations, or standards. - Documenting/Recording Information: Entering, transcribing, recording, storing, or maintaining information in written or electronic form. - Processing Information: Compiling, coding, categorizing, calculating, tabulating, auditing, or verifying information or data. - Identifying the underlying principles, reasons, or facts of information by breaking down information or data into separate parts.
Requirements
Knowledge - Design: Knowledge of design techniques, tools, and principals involved in production of precision technical plans, blueprints, drawings, and models. - Engineering and Technology: Knowledge of the practical application of engineering science and technology. This includes applying principles, techniques, procedures, and equipment to the design and production of various goods and services. - Production and Processing: Knowledge of raw materials, production processes, quality control, costs, and other techniques for maximizing the effective manufacture and distribution of goods. - Engineering and Technology: Knowledge of the practical application of engineering science and technology. Technology Skills - Auto desk Auto CAD - CATIA or SolidWorks - Auto desk 3ds Max + V-Ray - Microsoft Office - Microsoft PowerPoint - Microsoft Excel Job Requirements - Experiences: More than 3 years in related Field (Furniture Industry) - Educations: Master’s Degree in Industrial Design (Or related Field). - Abilities: * Strong attention to detail * The ability to come up with unusual or clever ideas about a given topic or situation, or to develop creative ways to solve a problem. * The ability to communicate information and ideas in speaking so others will understand. * The ability to imagine how something will look after it is moved around or when its parts are moved or rearranged. * The ability to apply general rules to specific problems to produce answers that make sense.
