Job Description

The mission of this position at Zarrin Roya is to plan and control the process of ordering and supplying raw materials with regard to the organization's strategies for the warehouse and production line in order to make sure of timely production based on the production planning needs, optimize the use of the organization’s resources, and the raw material inventory. The key tasks and responsibilities of this position are as follows: ● Controlling and checking the discrepancies in the system and pursuing to resolve the existing problems. ● Controlling the data and supervising the daily and monthly execution of MRP and creating new requests. ● Checking and approving the issued purchase requests and changing them if necessary. ● Implementing strategies related to ordering and optimal inventory based on the DOC standards and based on the organization's cash status. ● Holding meetings in order to control the raw material status and announce the production plan horizon. ● Pursuing and controlling the open orders and the transportation plan until reaching the factory, and announcing the discrepancies of the open orders. ● Pursuing and supervising the problems related to the quality and lack (non-delivery) of raw materials or the return of materials to the supplier. ● Coordinating with the purchasing, production planning, marketing, and R&D units for the launch and re-launch projects. ● Pursuing from the relevant units in order to make the decision on the non-used and unusable materials. ● Preparing reports about DOC and the status of the materials. ● Controlling and supervising the activities of the material planner. ● Pursuing and controlling the status of the slow-mover and non-used materials regularly and preventing their re-occurrence of them. ● Pursuing and controlling the needs of the weekly plan for at least 4 weeks of production, in order to execution of the production plans and provide assurance for the frozen production plan. ● Submitting a discrepancy report at each stage to the management to issue appropriate action.
