Job Description

1. Developing and monitoring HSE objectives & targets for the project; 2. Ensures the HSE Cases are developed and maintained for their assets in accordance with latest requirements; 3. Ensures participation in development and awareness and proper use of the HSE Case by the organization; 4. Ensures that revisions and updates of QHSE procedures & plans are prepared when necessary, adequately controlled and distributed; 5. Reviews facility specific emergency response plans; 6. Reviews and approves all action items raised for corrective measures, action party and target date; 7. Ensure the system of implementing QHSE procedures, plans and standards are established and documented; 8. Ensure that QHSE is integrated into routine activities; 9. Recognize QHSE performance and feedback appropriately; 10. Custodian of the QHSE-MS, ensuring that updates are prepared when necessary; 11. Directing programs to ensure awareness and proper use of the QHSE-MS; 12. Setting priorities for HSE activities by the department; 13. Developing the annual work program for the department and establish resource requirements; 14. Establish and maintain effective working relationships with other departments within the project and external stakeholders. 15. Review and approval of QHSE documentation and reports prior to issue; 16. Organize HSE audits and lead audits as required and making sure NCRs closed; 17. Conducting different site inspections as required; 18. Perform emergency response (ER) duties as defined in Project’s Emergency Response Procedures; 19. Arranging Q&S section personnel working shifts; 20. Conducts ‘Contract Holder’ duties as required.
