You will report to the Director of Legal, Compliance, and Quality and be responsible for the management of the Quality Assurance function. You will ensure the allocation of resources, coaching, and training as well as the continuous development of our Quality Management System including our marketing authorizations and license to operate in Iran.

The position:

You will be a significant Point of Contact (POC) for quality related matters.

In this role you are expected to:

  • Monitor and ensure compliance with external and internal requirements, leading Good Distribution Practice (GDP) audits and inspections.
  • Assess quality risks and conduct Quality Management Reviews with senior management.
  • Manage drug recall and drug shortage situations, overseeing the release and repackaging process for timely product availability.
  • Develop, implement, and update Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) as necessary and verify employees' adequate training for their roles.
  • Safeguard compliance by actively handling deviation and change control, ensuring Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) adherence throughout the production process.

Requirements:

  • Pharmacy degree with a strong grasp of Iran pharma regulations and QP responsibilities.
  • 5 to 7 years of experience as a Quality Manager or Qualified Person (QP) within the pharmaceutical industry.
  • Extensive familiarity with Quality Management Systems and Good Distribution Practice (GDP) requirements.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills to effectively lead teams and influence stakeholders, coupled with excellent communication abilities.
  • Detail-oriented with a quality-focused mindset, adept at navigating complexity and thriving in a dynamic work environment.
