Job Description

Purpose of job: We are looking for Senior Inspectors to join in Quality Control Organization. The inspectors will perform the full range of inspection activities in one or more of the inspection disciplines including Mechanical Equipment (Fixed and rotating), Welding, corrosion, Steel Structure, Electrical, Instrumentation and Control equipment and material in manufacturers and suppliers facilities. Main Responsibilities: • Review of VENDOR Quality procedures, ITP and documents for correct implementation of Project Quality Procedures & method statements and finalizing VENDOR documents. • Presence in Witness Inspection and Tests for the items in compliance with the purchase order and approved ITP. • Visit Vendor’s shop for checking and evaluating the Vendor’s quality control activities and correctness of fabrication without the Vendor’s application. • Verifying that all necessary inspections and tests, as required by the project and statutory regulations, are carried out and appropriate records are updated and maintained. • Coordinating quality activities with Vendors, Clients and Third parties, in accordance with approved ITP, for agreed witness inspections & tests. • Ensuring close-out of all punch-points within the time frame agreed with the client. • Performing assigned in-process and final products inspection and tests. • Monitoring all inspection work with respective of Quality ITPs and Checklist. • Evaluate the Factory inspection and Tests results • Preparing inspection & test reports of completed inspections & tests. • Ensuring all equipment's, tools and materials meet with the project quality requirements and that personnel have been adequately trained to use them safely. • Identification of non-calibrated equipment's and coordination with VENDOR for timely calibration of the equipment's. • Identifying non-conformities in materials, products, processes, procedures and reporting the non-conformities in the nonconformity report. • Verification of implementation of corrective & preventive actions against the non-conformities and reporting results to QA/QC Manager. • Finalizing of Vendor’s final quality dossiers and maintaining backups of completed quality dossiers. • Submitting reports and requested information / statistics to QA/QC Manager. • Liaison with QA/QC Manager for all aspects of quality. • Ensure all QC procedures and process controls are being implemented within all areas relating to Equipment and Material. • Familiar with the international industry codes and standards related to the equipment and material. • Manage attendance of all parties at Pre-Inspection meetings (PIM) • Receive and review inspection reports from the TPIA, ensuring that Inspection Reports, Non-Conformance Reports, Inspection Release Notes and Outstanding Work Lists are issued and ensuring close-out of all pending issues.
