- Inspect, test or measure materials and products being produced in the chemical lab

- Documentation, prepare and revise laboratory standard operating procedures
- Collect and analyze production samples to evaluate quality
- Ensuring that manufacturing processes comply with standards
- Monitor products to ensure that they meet production standards
- Maintenance, Calibration, troubleshooting of the HPLC in the lab
- Ensure the laboratory is well-stocked and resourced and that everything is clearly and correctly labelled
- Keep up to date with technical developments, especially those which can save time and improve reliability
- Responsible for all aspects of the labs where they work, including equipment, employees, supplies, software, and documentation.
- Perform laboratory experiments, measurements, and product characterizations and evaluate results.
- Maintains detailed technical records, as required, in the form of a laboratory notebook or computer databases.
- Provides process reports, monthly and quarterly reports, technical plans, project summaries and other internal correspondence in a timely manner to ensure appropriate communication of project status and needs.
