Job Description

• Responsible for main audit activities including: • Monitoring NC/ corrective/ preventive action for ISO 17025 and ISO/IEC 17043 in quality department to be implemented precisely. • Assist quality auditing head in preparing laboratory audit plan and perform internal audit and preparing audit report and follow up NC`s to be rectified. • Ensure that the effectiveness of test methods are audited and monitored. • Responsible for product certifying activities including: • Ensure that results are produced within proper quality control and are interpreted scientifically and meaningfully. • Ensure adherence to occupational safety standards and promote awareness of safety. • Assess product conformance against quality requirements and alert relevant parties when corrective action is required. • ISIRI communications included analysis request/report, monthly report and certificate extension. • Analysis request/report from external customers. • Preparing COA of final products. • Responsible for any non-routine/ customer request activities related to the quality auditing section such as extension of product certificates (food, pharmacopeia, toy, etc.), trend of analysis parameters, updating standard test method, product declaration. • Monitoring of test results and communicate with laboratory for any NCs in this regard. • Monitoring of raw material. • Control of retained samples storage in Laboratory. • Handling activities related to customer technical complaint including: • Follow customer communication through the relative sections • Investigation of technical customer complaints and customer survey in order to ensure customer satisfaction • Specifically, responsible for the technical customer complaints and monitoring of problems including: • Logging of complaints (final product and raw materials). • Investigation of complaint. • Analysis of samples (coordination through plant / labs). • Coordination of investigation with plant personnel. • Analysis and reporting of results. • Justification of claim. • Complaint statistics. • Ensure the correction action included in the technical customer complaints. • Ensure the correction action included in the technical customer complaints. • Liaise with other process to trigger improvements that will prevent recurrence of that complaint. • Provide technical support to the SOP group and customer. • Follow customer satisfaction procedure (Internal & external) and update CSI • Functionally responsible for system activities including: • Follow up and implement Quality ERP actions as user and super user. • LIMS admin activities and support users issues. • Assist Quality System specialists for IMS internal audit if neccessary. • Updating any relevant documents according to documentation policy. • Implement and maintain a laboratory management system to measure and manage the laboratory’s service levels, according to ISO 17025 and 17043. • Assist quality-auditing head for preparing management reports. • Responsible for plan and organize all activities related to performing proficiency testing (PT) according to ISO/IEC 17043 requirements including: • Informing customers about upcoming programs • Preparation of each PT program plan • Making required arrangements to send the samples to the participating laboratories • Informing participants when samples have been sent • Making required arrangements to send the final report to participants • Cooperation with quality auditing department to handle the complaints • Cooperation with quality auditing department to evaluate customer feedbacks • Preparing instructions for participants in cooperation with technical manager • Performing all required activities from labelling and dispatching samples for sending the final report to participants. • Performing all required activities for conducting a PT program according to related instructions. • Assigning values and associated uncertainties of the measured of PT items • Conducting statistical analysis • Evaluating the performance of proficiency testing participants • Preparation and issuing of proficiency testing reports • Checking the entered data in the performance evaluation software • Evaluating homogeneity and stability data

Requirements

- At Least : B.Sc. in chemistry Engineering or polymer Eng. Or Msc in Chemical Engineering or polymer Eng. - English Language: Upper Intermediate - ICDL: level 3 - Familiarity with Quality Management System (ISO 9001). - Familiarity with Laboratory Management System (ISO/IEC 17025). - Familiarity with Conformity assessment - General requirements for proficiency testing (ISO/IEC 17043). - Knowledge of basic statistical techniques. - Have knowledge and experience in GC, polymers properties and polymer conversions technology (film, extrusion, etc.). - Ability to act as internal auditor for ISO 17025 and ISO/IEC 17043 in laboratory and IMS in other departments
