Job Description

- Will be responsible of sourcing of Fresh Fruit and Vegetable products for the purpose of reselling in our stores - Will own and support the delivery of key target KPIs in line with the company strategy and achieve optimum cost and margin through effective negotiation, supplier management and identification of the most effective sourcing routes. - Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) - Develop an appropriate product range that delivers a market-leading commercial advantage - Achieve category targets for Sales, Profit, Waste and Market Share against the product range - Successfully develop a supplier plan and review performance with the supply base - Key responsibilities - Manage a complex variety of supplier relationships - Deliver a customer facing offer balancing range, price and promotion - Execute the sourcing and selection strategy for a given range of products - Negotiate optimum product cost with suppliers - Identify most cost effective sourcing routes into the stores - Implement Pricing, Promotional & Ranging strategies as agreed by the Business Strategy - Know and understand the relevant retail market and the category performance within that - Support the implementation of NPD - Understand the commercial risk involved: to effectively manage and communicate it to relevant stakeholders - Engage and influence key senior stakeholders -Following the correct operational routines to achieve great results - Manage department detail every day to deliver great results
