Job Description
• Lead, initiate and coordinate design/implementation efforts between internal cross-functional teams and outside merchants/vendors to manage risks and develop optimal solutions
• Define product features, develop and maintain product requirements document
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Engineering, Program Management, Operations, Planning, Marketing and strategy) through the complete product development cycle
• Lead design, Engineering and Program Management as necessary in the research and concept phases of product development
• Manage the product life-cycle from strategic planning to launch
• Evaluate and report on the performance of existing products/services against market opportunities
• Ensure product concepts align with global business objectives and strategies
• Analyze and assess competitive product offerings and synthesize primary/secondary market research as well as customer feedback for future product requirements
• Coordinate with Manufacturing, Operations, and Packaging to ensure supply chain requirements are satisfied
• Provide guidance to engineering (including Mechanical, electrical, and industrial design), product marketing, manufacturing, and others in all phases of the product life-cycle
• Mentor Associate Product Managers in product definition, product life-cycle management, analytical decision-making, and market research
• Report to Managing Director
