Job Description

We are looking for an accountable project engineer capable to manage construction activities and all relevant technical disciplines within the administrative works related to the projects. The Project Engineer will be part of the team who works on schedule, plan, forecast, resource and manages all the technical activities aiming at assuring project accuracy and quality from conception to completion. The Engineer will work at the Project Site in Saveh, and in Tehran office whenever needed. - Cooperating and communicating effectively with project managers and other project participants to provide assistance and technical support - Coordinating with technical office, consultants and the governmental agencies dealing with project development. - Following up and reporting the required permits such as excavation, building, site electricity subscription, water supply, waste transfer, heavy load transportation which needed for the site works. - Supporting the procurement works of the local contractor and/or consultant selection. As per necessity, the engineer shall work on Tender Document preparation, offer request, offer comparison, negotiation etc. - Following the works of Local Contractors & Consultants, preparing the required information & data& report for the proper progress for the local authorities - Preparing the progress report which should be submitted to the official authorities with the Project Manager/Team - If required and requested; preparing schedule, coordinate the works and monitor all activities - Monitoring compliance to applicable codes, practices, QA/QC, HSE, EIA policies, performance standards and specifications - Supporting other department works if required - Attending the meeting in project location and or other places as needed - Preparing the meeting notes and following the meeting conclusions & tasks - Providing assistance to the project managers and admin staff with limited English-Farsi proficiency to improve the quality of meetings and interviews - If required and/or requested based on the Company’s works; making business travels

Requirements

- MS or BS degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering - 10 years of professional work experience especially in Power and/or Oil & Gas Industry - Knowledge in power plant engineering is an advantage - Accurate, well-structured and focused on solution working habits - Knowledge in MS word, Excel, MS Project, ACAD and etc. - Ability to endorse contractor/consultant documents - Planning & organizing skills - Highly flexible, high tolerance, effective time management and able to travel all over the country for projects purpose - Eligibility for flexible working hours and days - Fluent/advanced English and Farsi - Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed - Driving License (min. 5 years driving experience in Iran)
