Job Description
Essential Skills • Programs, plans and develops building designs, experience with all phases of a design process • As a part of a project team, develops design drawings and prepares construction documents. • May provide support during construction administration to team implementing the design solution. • Understanding of building materials and systems, methods of construction and the integration of building services, core and building envelop elements. • Understanding of building, zoning codes and methods of calculating areas for multiple purposes. • Ability to collaborate and coordinate with engineering disciplines for a comprehensive design. • Interact with client, client representatives and contractors on the technical aspects of the project design and delivery, works with teams to align BIM process with client expectations. • Assist with project pursuits Work Schedule: 08:00 am – 5:00 pm Saturday through Wednesday and 8:00 am – 12:00 pm Thursday (minimum). Hours will vary on holiday weeks.
Requirements
Essential Qualifications • Minimum 10 years of experience required with Corporate Commercial and Science & Technology building projects • Master Degree in Architecture or relevant field is required. • Demonstrated program experience in the usage of Revit , Auto CAD, Sketch Up, basic rendering and publishing programs, and Microsoft Office suite required • Familiarity with building codes and fire department regulations Is required • Project Management and project production team lead experience is required • Strong organizational, communications (both verbal and written) skills, and leadership abilities are required • Ability to effectively coordinate with internal architectural and engineering team members is required • Actively participates in professional organizations
