Job Description

•Main Objective: This position forms part of both product Marketing and creative team, and improve the way that products work or look. Collaborate and work closely with product marketing managers, BU team and fellow design team members to create design concepts and drawings to determine what the best product is and how it looks. Familiar and understand home appliance technology and modern designs, production methods and materials, and be able to meet deadlines and work within budgets. Being creative and passionate about designing and improving the usability of home-appliance products. •Main Responsibilities: -Actively participate in product design brief development; including concept, performance and production criteria and develop design concepts -Constantly monitor current industry trends and market conditions to identify new and existing product improvement opportunities -Identify appropriate materials, textures, production process and key technical works to follow the product strategy and watch consumer trends to identify desirable product characters and market trends -Illustrate complex design solutions by creating process flows, prototypes, and high quality mock-ups -Use research data, user testing and market analysis to create truly user-centric designs and ensure all designs are considering comfort and usability. -Evaluate feasibility of production facilities to ensure all designs will be align to the approved guidelines. -Develop and maintain detailed design documentation including specifications, red lines and style guides
