Job Description
● Front-End engineering design (FEED) and detailed design.
● Process design of Oil and Gas Plants (Amine sweetening units, gas dehydration unit, condensate stabilization Plant, etc.).
● Process simulation and optimization. (Steady-state).
● Development of drawings (Block diagram, UFD's, PFD's, and P&ID's.).
● Calculation and dimensioning of piping, valves, and process equipment.
● Prepare P&ID, line lists, and design reports.
● Hydraulic calculations for plant piping, flowline, etc. (Steady-State).
● Equipment sizing and rating (Separators, heat exchangers, pumps, compressor, etc).
● Preparation of data sheets of equipment.
● Technical report writing (Design basis, evaluation report, conceptual design report, philosophies, operating manual, operating procedures, etc.).
● Develop and maintain process-related documents.
● Technical bid evaluation and vendor correspondence.
● Participate in safety studies (HAZOP, HAZID, Fire Safety Review, etc.)
● Cost estimation.
● Preparation of tender document.
● Perform and evaluate process simulations.
● Project work in multidiscipline teams.
● Responsible for relevant necessary process and system documentation, such as operation- manuals, testing procedures, etc.
● Checking of design documents.
● Assist in managing and reviewing the project progress, i.e., planned vs. actual. Review of project schedule, coordinating and monitoring the assigned project progress, and challenge below-par performance of the contractor.
● Verify that method statements provided by site engineers and aligned with (or will be consistent with) the engineering.
● Verify the project schedule milestones of his discipline.
● Perform other tasks as assigned by the management.
