Job Description

The Process Engineer role is responsible for the provision of process engineering activities for Design, construction, commissioning, Start-up, and maintenance of Oil and gas refinery plants and relevant facilities. List of responsibilities: - Providing all Process documents including process flow diagrams (PFD’s) piping and instrumentation diagrams (P&ID’s) and process data sheets for equipment and instruments especially for oil and gas pipelines stations and plants. - Review of documents commenting and endorsing relevant technical data • Analyze project specifications and inquiry requirements; develop design parameters and methodology. - Prepare engineering calculations, manage the interfaces and reply to the site queries - Maintain and develop chemical engineering design software. - Follow-up on completed projects including start-up and performance guarantee test. - Appropriate response to client requests and vendor/subcontracts - Maintain up-to-date knowledge of technology trends. - Maintain a high professional profile. - Reporting to: Engineering manager. Subordinates: Does not have. - Length of Probation Period: 3 months.
