Job Description

● Review and comment on basic and detailed drawings for the installation of piping and pipeline system. ● Review, analyze and comment on technical design, drawings, plans, specifications, and calculation notes, etc. in order to control projects requirements. ● Write reports and prepare required documentation to control project cost, time, and quality. ● Collaborate with multi-disciplinary engineering teams, and work with vendors and contractors. ● Vendor documents review and implementation. ● Producing preliminary MTOs for early orders, check and control final material take-offs prepared by a consultant. ● Follow-up procurement process including Manage technical clarification and evaluation of received quotations by vendors. Control QC document and track material till delivery to site. ● Prepare required documents and technical proposals for tenders also able to answer site technical queries. ● Take part in projects' internal coordination meetings as well as meetings with clients. ● Review the consultant’s technical documentation, specification, and requirements. ● Preparation of piping-related procedures and ITPs. ● Identify changes to scope and promptly raise change notification and also prepare claim package. ● Attend project kickoff and review meetings, vendor/supplier meetings, engineering, and design meetings.

Requirements

● Capability in the Review and comment on piping and pipeline engineering documents such as plot plans, drawings and sections, piping isometrics and MTO, Tie-in list, details, and layouts. ● At least 5-7 years of experience in piping design and construction or procurement in the field of Oil, Gas, and Petrochemical plant. ● Fluent in spoken and written English. ● Experience with PDMS. ● Remarkable knowledge of types of industrial equipment, piping, valves, flanges, fittings, and related material. ● Experience using piping design and modeling and analysis software such as AutoCAD Plan3D, PDMS, CAESAR, or similar. ● Familiar with the procurement process of piping material. ● Ability to negotiate with clients, contractors, and suppliers and interact at work. ● Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Chemical, or Industrial Engineering or any other relevant fields. ● Familiar with piping standards and codes (API, ASME, ANSI, ASTM, NACE, etc.) including ASME B31.3. ● Familiar with piping components material and dimensional standards and codes. ● Sufficient knowledge of practical software such as MS Office, AutoCAD. ● Good report writing skills.
