The Pipeline Design Engineer is responsible for the implementing and provision of Pipeline engineering activities in Design, construction, commissioning, Start-up, and maintenance of Oil and gas pipelines and relevant facilities List of responsibilities: - Providing all documents related to pipeline (Crossings, Stations, Plan & profile … ) including Drawings, data sheets, Material take off , Design Calculations, in according to National and International Codes and guides ( API, NIOC, ASME , …) - Review of documents commenting and endorsing relevant technical data - Analyze project specifications and inquiry requirements; develop design parameters and methodology. - Prepare engineering calculations, manage the interfaces and reply to the site queries • Maintain and develop chemical engineering design software. - Follow-up on completed projects including start-up and performance guarantee test. • Appropriate response to client requests and vendor/subcontracts - 3D modeling design experience with an understanding of 3D modeling best practices and procedures. understanding of layout/installation of piping in existing pipe racks and equipment layout in existing facilities - Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the latest technology trends. - Maintain a high professional profile. . - Ready to stay at site (if needed)
