Generic responsibilities: -Contribute to adapt NRC global partnership toolkit and develop NRC Iran way of working around partnership, including role and responsibilities; - Act as focal point for the assigned partners throughout the different phases of the project cycle management; - Support local capacity through facilitating the transfer of relevant NRC expertise, experience and tools to NRC Iran local partners; - Support learning and development of NRC staff on issues of partnership, ensuring NRC Iran partnership approach is disseminated across all units and area offices; - Oversight partners and support them to ensure that their adherence with NRC policies, tools, handbooks and guidelines; Specific responsibilities: - Contribute to the development of NRC Iran partnership strategy and ways of working with local partners; - Contribute to the identification of new partners and coordinate assessment meetings with NRC and partners (existing and new), including bi-annual partners performance assessments; - Support partners on the development of new project proposals and coordinate internal revisions, -ensuring that all NRC relevant colleagues are involved (Technical Specialists, Project Coordinators, Finance, as needed); - Coordinate the development of partnership agreements, which outlines the scope and type of service delivery envisaged between NRC and its local partner(s); - Act as focal point for contract issue, such as queries on rules and regulation, revisions, budget modification, ensuring inputs from relevant NRC colleague are provided timely; - In coordination with the Partnership - Capacity Building officer and the Partnership Capacity Building Specialist, assess partners’ capacity and identify gaps, ensure that partners are actively attending relevant training sessions and workshops offered by NRC and that relevant knowledge is put in practice; - Maintain NRC Partnership filing tree system; - Conduct regular weekly visits to partners’ offices in all areas, as well as in field visits as requested, and provide the coaching and mentoring as relevant; - Contribute to maintaining effective and positive working relationships with relevant stakeholders including partner agencies; - Work actively with the protection, accountability, grants and technical teams to ensure strong mainstreaming of core NRC principles across operational partners.

Requirements

Generic professional competencies: - Bachelor degree or equivalent - Minimum 2 years’ experience in humanitarian/development field, preferably in partnerships and civil society strengthening - Proven ability to work effectively and professionally with national and local civil society organizations required - Excellent coordination, communication (verbal and written) and networking skills - Fluency in both English and Farsi (speaking, reading, writing) Context/ Specific skills, knowledge and experience: - Basic understanding of NRC donor rules and regulation - Ability to transfer knowledge and understanding of adult learning principles - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Behavioral competencies - Planning and delivering results - Communicating with impact and respect - Working with people
