Job Description
- Live monitoring of the VSAT network including the remote terminals and the hub sites.
- Troubleshooting, maintenance and follow-up in cases of incidents in the network through monitoring tools and ticketing system.
- Provide a timely and professional response to customer inquiries and communications
- Provide and update internal technical and procedural documentations.
- Direct, evaluate and deliver VSAT-NOC routine tasks such as installation, support and collection in the network and fulfill the related checklists.
- Carrying out the proactive tasks based on procedures to ensure all components of the network are in normal condition.
- Perform in-case tasks assigned by supervisor and/or board of management.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Telecommunications, Electrical engineering, or Computer Sciences.
- At least 1 year of work experience as network operation center technician or relative fields.
- Good understanding of the satellite communication concepts, technologies and equipment.
- Good network understanding equivalent with CCNA.
- Ability to work in shifts or work through the night.
- Sufficient proficiency in network management and monitoring tools.
- Proficient in MS Office, especially Excel, Word, PowerPoint.
- Proficient in English writing and speaking.
