Job Description
The job of a data center operator entails: - Monitoring transactions, logs, and graphs. - Supervising systems, identifying logs, and reporting upcoming issues to his seniors. - Writing events/accidents reports during the shift. - Performing precautionary system maintenance to ensure that the center’s systems and network are functioning well. - Writing scripts and procedures for monitoring, reporting systems, and transferring files and data between servers and FTP. - Responding to bank’s headquarters - Interact with clients through phone or in-person to help them set up systems or troubleshot issues. - Reporting to: manager - Duration: 1-year contract - Desired start date: ASAP - Working hours: Sat-Wed. 8 am - 5 pm - Other Benefits: housing as well as transport allowance
Requirements
- Strong troubleshooting skills to investigate errors and performance bottlenecks, Excellent written, verbal communication and documentation -Experience with Oracle database 11g 12g, RAC, ASM, Data Guard and Performance tuning, Experience administering databases on Exadata is a strong plus - Experience with Enterprise Manager for monitoring and administering the mission-critical database, Experience with database backup and recovery, Experience with database patching and upgrades - University qualifications: BSc. or MSc. in computer science ( software - IT) - Preferably governmental universities - Previous experience: at least 2 years - Gender: male - Nationality Preference: Iranian - Language Skills: Fluent in English - Current Residence: Tehran
