Job Description

● Monitor the proper operation of laboratory equipment. ● Ensure laboratory testing and compliance with the rules and regulations of IRI on occupational safety, as well as IMS on occupational safety ZNV/KNGP. ● Monitor the emergency protection, IPS system, fire detection, and Gas pollution control system in the laboratory. ● Control and ensure timely order of necessary reagents, equipment, spare parts, transportation, and other necessary materials for laboratory work and issuing appropriate WSR. ● Chemical reagent usage (the use of commercial reagents, chemical and analytical control of oilfield processes). ● Ensure smooth execution of production plans, and takes preventive measures to avoid and eliminate violations in the production process. ● Quality management of laboratory tests, methods of laboratory tests, and support of laboratory equipment at the appropriate level. ● Conduct tests of varying complexity in accordance with international standards (ASTM, and ISO). ● Participate in the commissioning of work performed by contractors, service organizations, and personnel of the installation, maintenance, and repair of equipment and technical devices of the laboratory. ● Install and commission equipment in the laboratory. ● Provide audits and inspections including leadership safety audits. ● Prepare and provide statistical, managerial, and other required reports. ● Maintain the quality management system of the laboratory.
