Job Description

● Execute product designs from concept to production including specification, design, prototyping, validation, and testing. ● Design and produce necessary drawings to manufacture standard conveying equipment and/or modified equipment in accordance with the company’s needs. ● Conduct research, document findings, and present reports at meetings. ● Identify areas of weakness in fulfillment procedures and make recommendations for improvement.

Requirements

● CATIA experience with best practices for part design, advanced assemblies, complex configuration management. ● Familiar with FEA software like Ansys and Abaqus to simulate performance in order to improve product designs. ● Familiar with pneumatic elements and systems. ● Familiar with GD&T. ● Familiar with material specification and selection. ● Familiar with manufacturing procedures. ● Strong organizational skills and the ability to work well with cross-functional teams (Electrical, Civil, etc.) and effectively communicate concepts. ● Effectively handle multiple priorities, organize workload, and meet deadlines. ● Maybe need to travel to job sites or factories to measure physical dimensions for machinery and observe production lines and solve the probable design problems.
