Job Description

The main purpose of the Mechanical engineer staying at the technical office encompasses providing technical advice and support on the design, engineering and commissioning of mechanical systems for building projects. Main responsibilities includes: • Continuous follow up with the technical office manager to ensure that the Team’s targets are achieved. • Inspection of Work progress and quality of the work pertaining to mechanics at the construction site. • Staying up to date with the latest codes & standard including ASHRAE and NFPA to perform design review of (A/C, Fire Fighting, Drainage, and Water and etc.) submitted by the consultants to assure they are in accord with the latest standards and efficiency criteria • May propose alternative design solutions to render the projects viable and within allocated budget. • Reviewing material submittals. • Reviewing the payments related to mechanical works.
