Job Description
- Designing mechanical components of new mechatronic products and optimizing the existing models List of responsibilities: - Researching and proposing solutions to technical problems - Actively participating in design decision making processes - Reading and writing documents - Designing mechanical components - Liaising with suppliers - Cooperating with manufacturing team within prototyping and production process - Testing, evaluating, modifying and re-testing products - Supporting clients on-site when necessary Reporting to: Senior mechanical engineer Working hours: Saturdays to Tuesdays 8AM to 17 PM, Wednesdays 8 to 16 PM Travel requirements: Only when necessary for client support or performing delivery and test procedures (seldom)
Requirements
- Mechanical designer with 3+ years of Solid Works experience - Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering (solid mechanics is preferred) - Strong knowledge of machine element design - Expertise in CAD/CAE software and drafting procedures - Familiarity with manufacturing processes (particularly sheet metal) - Good at team work, time management, interpersonal and organizational skills - Creativity and problem solving skills - Commercial awareness
