Job Description

-Identifying, developing or evaluating marketing strategy based on knowledge of vision & objectives, market characteristics and cost/margin factors -Following up new business opportunities and setting up meetings -Making P&L, Business plan and forecasting with high level of presentation skills -Field visiting and going to the market to bring new ideas and being face of company in front of KOLs. -Preparing go-to market strategies, launch plans, planning of promotional campaigns and working closely with design agencies to facilitate product launches and monitoring the implementation of such campaigns -Coordinating marketing campaigns with sales activities, and supporting field sales forces with information regarding market & competition policies as pricing and sales -Manage various aspects of marketing communications (including branding and advertising), market research activities and monitoring customer/consumer complaints and objections -Monitoring, measuring and reporting on effectiveness of marketing, advertising, and communication programs based on defined KPI’s and strategies -Gathering data on competitors and analyzing their prices, sales and method of marketing and distribution -Directing the hiring, training and performance evaluations of marketing team and overseeing their daily activities -Product management capabilities including market/consumer research for market/product requirements, and interface with business development team for portfolio developments -Making recommendations and evaluations on new product opportunities and business development -Close and constant contact with suppliers to define and execute annual marketing plans based on their global strategies -Developing and refining strategic go-to-market messaging & positioning tailored to industry verticals -Researching competitive products by identifying and evaluating product characteristics, market share, pricing, and advertising; maintaining research databases -Working closely with key customers to provide category and shopper insight to drive performance. -Actively participating in specific dedicated training to sales force -Coordination and supervision on the plan for participation in national or international congresses, planning and supervision on implementing standalones, scientific group meetings, advisory board meetings, and other probable scientific programs and related to pharmaceutical basket of company and presence in these programs -Monitoring and tracking budget spend and actively work to increase ROI whenever possible -Pro-actively anticipate competitor activities -Advertising Agencies briefing in order to be aligned with the brand strategies -Synthesizing consumer learning and generating consumer insights -Conducting sales force training in the domain of scientific knowledge and marketing content -Supporting sales team by providing latest study material on the products of the organization -Answering queries raised by field force and medical practitioners -Reporting to the Managing Director

Requirements

-Having at least Master degree (preferable beyond) related to medicine or pharmacy -Previous experience: Minimum 5 years’ experience in sales and/or marketing and business development in pharma or FMCG or consumer healthcare or medical equipment -Ability to negotiate effectively -Good business sense and a deep understanding of marketing principles -Must have strong sales and presentation skills with ability to communicate professionally with customer -High leadership and teamwork skills -Strong work ethics -Problem-solving and analytical skills -Working well under pressure and having stress tolerance -Excellent command of MS Office esp. power point -Ability to travel occasionally -Fluent in English, Writing, Listening & Speaking
