Key objective of this function is to provide full financial support to Iran market FP&A lead in the Planning, Controlling and Analyzing of all Marketing and Sales data. As a business partner, the position will also play a role in supporting the management decision-making process and provide an adequate platform for on-going assessment, monitoring and improvements of the business processes
The position delivers core financial services in the area of planning, controlling, provides financial advice and supports the achievement of business objectives, promoting the highest standards of quality and transparency in all business process. In particular, the position supports the FP&A team
-Developing and helping with preparation of M&S brand marketing planning cycles periodically
-Marketing and Sales Budget controlling and analyzing at Month End (and Year End) and ensuring the accuracy of all inputs
-Driving market efforts on continuous process improvement, change management and cross-functional collaboration
-Pro-actively supporting the M&S team in the setting and agreeing on Trading Agreements, supporting accounts with Joint Business Plans (JBP) and customer profitability models where relevant as well as challenging assumptions on promotional spend
-Supporting the Controlling team in the design and implementation of operating controls relevant for the functions. Train non-finance M&S employees on financial matters and organize training accordingly
-Managing cross-functional matters, collaborate pro-actively with stakeholders, bring visibility and raises the quality standards
-Coordinating detailed planning and accurate delivery for all JTI financial reporting cycles for M&S
-Prepare FP&A information and analysis of financial performance vs. plans to highlight developing variances
-Looking for continuous process innovation within M&S finance including forecast models, promotional and customer evaluation models
-Supporting International Finance Reporting Standard team Month End Close and related JTI Month End and Quarterly Entity Reporting requirements
-University degree or equivalent commercial degree
-5 years’ experience in finance roles in a multinational company
-Background in financial planning, accounting and/or controlling
-Past experience on Planning or Controlling is a plus
-Experience in working in a multi-cultural environment a plus
-Creative, innovative thinker with an ability to challenge status-quo and drive improvements
-Team player with an ability to work in matrix organizations
-Ability to work in cross-functional teams
-Excellent analytical, coordination and communication skills
-Proficiency in MS Office applications
-SAP R3/BW & related GPM tool knowledge a plus
-Exposure to ERP systems is a plus
-Fluency in English, other languages considered a plus
