Job Description

•Develop the broad functional strategy and ensure that the vision, mission and strategy is cascaded down to the departments to ensure vertical alignment and horizontal integration of all functional strategies across company. •Ensure that departmental strategies and related strategic plans are developed and implemented, which are aligned with the vision and mission company. •Direct the preparation and consolidation of departmental budgets in order to ensure their alignment with company’s overall budget •Monitor company’s financial performance versus the budget so that the business is aware of anticipated costs/revenues, areas of unsatisfactory performance are identified and potential performance improvement opportunities are capitalized upon •Drives the company to achieve and surpass sales, profitability, cash flow and business goals and objectives. • Assists, as required, in raising additional capital at appropriate valuations to enable the company to meet sales, growth and market share objectives. •Lead the effective achievement of functional objectives through setting individual objectives, managing performance, recruiting qualified staff, developing and motivating staff, provision of formal and informal feedback and appraisal – in order to maximize subordinate and departmental performance •Lead and direct the management of change through continuous improvement of functional systems, processes and practices taking into account ‘international best practice’, •Ensure that all reports of company are completed timely and comply with local principles of corporate governance, standards, policies and procedures •Direct the development and oversee the implementation of functional policies, systems, processes, procedures and controls so that all relevant procedural/legislative requirements are fulfilled while delivering a quality, cost-effective services in a consistent manner •Direct the compliance of all relevant safety, quality and environmental management policies, procedures and controls in order to guarantee employee safety, legislative compliance •Manage the activities and work of subordinates and evaluate their performance by providing formal and informal feedback to ensure that all work within a specific area is carried out in an efficient manner and in accordance with set individual targets

Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering/ food industry engineering •12-15 years relevant experience in dairy industries at least 3 years in position Managing Director. • Ensuring the development and implementation of a clear strategic plan for an organization or business unit. • Leading entire business units or divisions of an organization. • Excellent sales and marketing knowledge of Dairy products • Extensive leadership/management experience in Dairy manufacturing.
